Harvesting Information

Harvesting cannot and will not happen in less than 3 feet of water. The best they can do is to try and skim the surface and that is only temporary.

The harvesters purpose is to create a channel to your dock, not clear cut your entire shoreline.
As a homeowner, you can and are encouraged to keep your area as clean as you want it to be.

The harvester is designed to cut the weeds. Most are picked up in the process but some do get away. Aqua Thrusters should be turned off if the harvester is in your area. They may clog if left running.

Harvesting is scheduled on the East Section once a month.

See the maps below as to where can and cannot harvested per the DNR.

Wind and rain will prevent the harvesters from going out.

Please be kind to the people operating the harvesters, they are working hard for all of us!
