Friendship Lake is a 125 acre lake located in Adams County. It has a maximum depth of 15 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing, and a public beach. Fish include Pan fish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The lake is surrounded by The Village of Friendship, The town of Adams, and The Town of Preston.
The Lake was created by the damming of the Little Roche-a-cri creek.
Friendship Lake is an elongated water body with a maximum depth of 15 feet and an average depth of 5-8 feet range. It is divided into 2 sections by 11th Ave which runs North and South through Adams County.
The East section of the Lake features a Class 1 trout stream and is the tributary that feeds the lake, it has an ave depth of 1-9 feet. There is an undeveloped access that can be used by smaller boats and canoes, and they can easily pass through the culvert under 11th Ave to gain access to the East end.
The West section of the Lake which is the main body of water has an ave depth of 3-15 feet, with a public access, parking lot, beach and bathhouse located at the Northwest end of the Lake which is managed by The village of Friendship. The bathhouse, beach area and boat launch were renovated in 2019.
Friendship Dam was acquired by the district in 2018 and is now owned and operated by the Lake District.
